Description: Solid 18k Civil War Waltham Pocket Watch Appleton Tracy No 66078 dates the watch to 1863. Works and keeps time. Was presented to JW Horne dated 1863 presented by the First M. E. Church South 22nd St. Brooklyn as a token of regard. I have paper work of the gentleman’s life and how he spoke about the civil war. This is a beautiful watch. Watch weighs 3.5oz of solid 18k less movement. Dial is nice. Keywind and set from the back though dust cover. Please check out all the photos. This is from my personal collection and there is not another one like it. The picture with movement details given to me by a fellow member of eBay. Thank you. It’s rare to have a civil war case and movement together a lot of cases did not survive. This one is case and movement 1863
