The Observe of this coin has a portrait of King Faud I of Egypt in Military Uniform with Arabic writing around the rim فؤاد الأول ملك مصر or in English Faud I, King of Egypt. The Reverse also has Arabic Script, on the top it has the denomination ٢ قرشان or 2 Qirsh on top, beautiful Arabic Calligraphy in a circle in the middle which in Egyptian Standard Arabic says, المملكة المصرية or The Kingdom of Egypt, and the years ١٩٢٩ or 1929 in the Gregorian Calendar towards the left and ١٣٤٨ or 1348 AH towards the right.
