Description: Up for your consideration is this 1993 1/64 ERTL "First Ladies of Racing" Louise Smith 1938 #94 Smith's Auto Parts Ford. It is autographed on the front of the packaging in black. See Photo. Louise Smith was known as the "First Lady of Racing". Her first race was in the 1949 Daytona Beach race, where after watching the race for a short time, could not stand it anymore and entered her family's brand new Ford Coupe. She immediately rolled the car but was uninjured. She raced around the South from 1949 to 1956 and actually won 38 races in several different formats. I do not have a COA on the autograph, but I personally met and obtained Louise's signature on this diecast. She was a lovely Southern Lady and I am so pleased I got to meet her before she passed in 2006 in Greenville, SC. She autographed the diecast at the North Carolina Racing Hall of Fame, in Mooresville, NC on 10-8-2003. I ship to the United States, only. Buyer pays calculated shipping. Thank you for your interest. This historic diecast driven by an iconic female racecar driver would make an awesome addition to any diecast collection.
