Description: Beautiful Antique Heinrich Handwerck doll with marked body. She is approximately 24 inches tall with a nice bisque head (some wig pulls and glue residue on head rim). Doll was checked and I see no cracks to head, but she is an old gale so she has some aging wear. She has a gorgeous face with wonderful coloring and expertly painted facial features. She has lovely brown sleep eyes that work well, an open mouth with 4 upper teeth, pierce ears (some rub near ear). Her body is in beautiful condition with its original finish and all of her fingers and toes are accounted for (with some crazing at leg joints and neck area). There is light wear to the surface and at the joints. The wig she is wearing is not original (no pate). Lovely doll is dressed as found (Nice antique dress, slip, pantaloons and shoes (no socks). Stringing is good for her age, and she can hold a pose. Her head is incised "Germany Heinrich Handwerck Simond & Halbig) with the number 4 at the bottom. Her body is stamped in red letters "Heinrich Handwerck Germany". Please review all pictures they show best description.
