Description: NF / VG++. 1954 (I’m guessing the actual year of issuance is later due to the “R S T” on copyright page + the overall “New-ish” look of the paper, etc.) Harcourt, Brace & World, Illustrated Book Club Edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. This edition, illustrated by Joy Batchelor and John Halas, was first published in 1954. As I mentioned, it’s difficult to determine when this particular copy was issued - but if I had to guess…I’d say the 1970’s?. Regardless, it’s in lovely condition, with just a few scuff marks on the jacket rear cover.
