This souvenir soffkee spoon for Biscayne Bay Miami Florida has so much going on! The Old Cape Florida Light Lighthouse is embossed in the bowl with a deep relief applied silhouette of Seminole Chief Osceola on the back. On the front of the squared handle is lettered " Miami Biscayne Bay Florida". On the back is lettered "Seminole Soffkee Spoon" or possibly "shoon". Soffkee is a native Seminole corn or rice porridge-like drink. The bend in the handle is not a defect but made to resemble traditional soffkee ladles. Marked with the Gorham mark and " STERLING".
