It uses either silica sand or Bestway Polysphere Pool Filtration Balls (both sold separately) to filter debris out of your pool. An included pre-filter strainer basket catches larger items and increases the pool pump's efficiency and longevity while the ChemConnect dispenser helps to simplify your pool maintenance routine. This dispenser provides a stable level of chlorine (not included) throughout your pool to maintain proper chemical balance.
