Description: This is perhaps the most significant piece of blink-182 memorabilia in existence. This microphone was used for all the vocals beginning with the album Enema of the State and onward through Neighborhoods. It was even used for the Dogs Eating Dogs EP. Mark later had the sleeve of this mic sent back to Blue to be powder-coated pink for him (so that's why the color is different from most of the old photos). You can hear him talk about that here: https://youtu.be/9XcNlLIiXC4?si=Vbg-0e2cJicGebWU&t=1644 Of this microphone, Mark affectionately says "That was the one..." This microphone was used on favorites like I Miss You, All the Small Things, First Date, What's My Age Again, etc. It's not often a band has one piece of gear used on all their best recordings. Most bands switch gear for each song, let alone each album. I purchased this microphone from Mark Hoppus a few years ago. His description of the microphone says "This microphone was used to record all of the vocals from Enema Of The State throughout Neighborhoods." He included a signed certificate of authenticity with the microphone. A letter with the details from the original sale is also included. Also included is the original flight case, power supply and cable. The Gibson guitar shown in the photos is for display and is not included in the sale.
