We bought this one way back in 2021 with the best of intentions from a guy down in Georgia -he had picked her up from a marina auction, and just like us, never got around to doing anything with her. She came with the original (non-running) Yamaha 200 horsepower two stroke, which we removed and gave to our buddy Ralph The Outboard Guy. While a lot of folks still love the old two strokes, most are ready to move on. From a business perspective, pouring money and time into non-running, older two stroke motors no longer makes a lot of sense. So -this one’s ready for re-power! I don’t think we’ve ever mentioned Ralph here, but he’s a fascinating entrepreneurial guy, and a real quality person -born in Nigeria, served in the US Navy, etc - but also one of those people that crosses your path for reasons outside of the obvious. Anyway, Ralph is an exporter, he fills containers with old Yamaha outboards and sends them to Nigeria. From there, they’re either rebuilt or parted out. Back to our Outrage - This sought after, easily trailerable, highly capable hull was only offered from 1999-2001 —which is a real shame. Not only were they built like a brick -you know what house, they’re also the only 21 foot Boston Whaler Center Console to ever actually have an enclosed restroom/head! That’s right! The 1999-2001 Outrage 21 shared the same huge, step-inside console as its larger sibling, the Outage 23! Some came with port-a-potties, while others, like ours, were actually plumbed with macerators, holding tanks, and discharge. That’s big boat kind of stuff, and pretty rare for a 21 footer! I can’t tell you how many times we hear some version of - “I love that boat, but my significant other has to have a potty” Moving on - She’s big, wide, heavy, rides great, and built for fishing. There are large fishboxes in the floor, rodholders, raw-water wash down, a livewell, and lots of flat walk around surface. Ours has the very expensive, optional high-end factory leaning post, and optional freshwater holding tank with transom shower. There’s plenty of seating, high, safe sides, a bunch of cup holders, and a 125 gallon fuel tank. Everything is heavy-duty/overbuilt. USCG rated for 250 hp, and up to 10 people, and of course, can't sink! Ours is solid, but neglected, and sold as a project/fixer-upper. Clean her up, re-power and take her anywhere! A few more facts - -The 21 Outrage hull was shared with the 21 Conquest (Boston Whaler’s cuddy cabin/walk-around model of the same era). -The next generation 21’ Outrage, while a nice boat, was slightly smaller, with a lower horsepower rating, a much smaller console (no head), and much less expensive to produce.
