Having your collection standing upright allows for a more dramatic detailed view of your bayonet collection. Mounted on a plaque base made of Knotty Pine the bayonet, and now the scabbard too, is suspended in the upright position by a Stud Guide Assembly which recreates the same dimensions as the original Lug Assembly. This design gives you lots of flexibility to arrange your Type I, II or III and scabbard in a variety of different positions. The Pine wood base comes with a pre-drilled holes for the bayonet stand. I do not do custom engraved plates. You will need find another source for custom plates.******Some assembly is required! The only tool necessary is a Phillips screwdriver able to work with small 2.5x10mm screws. All other parts are press fit and provide a sturdy and stable support. Although sometimes wood glue is necessary for a tight fit. Wood Glue is not included. Assembly time is less than 5minutes. (40 seconds once you know how to do it!)
