Description: Tired of the needle/rubber plug nitrogen charging set-up on Fox PODIUM, AND PODIUM X shocks on all Polaris RZR'S, Honda Pioneer's & Talon's,Artic Cat's, Kawasaki's, YXZ'S, CAN-AM's, ETC?! These will eliminate the the rubber pellet and plastic plug, and convert them to the more reliable and easy to maintain schrader-valve style, that you see on all larger off-road shocks!! This listing is for two (2) of these valves. Here's the list of what you will need to do make these work..Take your endcaps.. 1) remove the allen-head set screw,&rubber pellet.(GEN1 Endcaps) 2)Drill out the center hole in the cap with a 11/32" metal drill bit in a drill press. 3)Tap threads into the new hole with a 1/8"(pipe) NPT tap. 4) install these schrader valves with a high quality Teflon sealant. 5) charge your shock with a traditional No-loss nitrogen chuck for accurate and hassle-free nitrogen charging!!.. I sell all the recharging regulator kits, and or fill tools to recharge the shocks also. These are AUTHENTIC SCHRADER BRAND schrader valves, which are nickel plated brass & have 500 psi peak capacity/450*F, Viton, High Pressure/Heat valve cores installed, (not standard low pressure ones you'll get everywhere else, which will result in nitrogen loss; which will cause a blown shock, and a ruined weekend!!). These also come with a "Knurled" nickel plated brass High-Pressure metal caps installed. These have a 1/8-27 NPT(1/8" pipe thread base) and are about 7/8" long total length. **********For those who don't want to have to chase down the drill, tap, and or hassle with having this process done, Schmidty Racing Suspension also have COMPLETE replacement High Volume Nitrogen Reservoir Replacement endcaps, which already have a schrader valve installed in them! On these replacement endcaps, the schrader valve is recessed into the end-cap to protect the schrader valve from external damage on the trail.
