Description: Life of Jalal u'd Din Rumi - This may be in Persian or perhaps Arabic? I'm afraid my knowledge of these languages is nil. Rumi was a 13th-century poet whose works were mostly written in Persian but he also used Turkish, Arabic and Greek. He was born in Afghanistan or possibly Tajikistan, and died in Turkey. He was also an Islamic scholar, Maturidi theologian and Sufi mystic. This life of the poet belonged to James Windrow Sweetman, who was Vice-Principal of the Henry Martyn school of Islamics at Aligarh and then Professor of Islamics at the Selly Oak College, Birmingham. He died in 1966.
