Apply barrier cream to prevent staining on forehead, ears, and neck. Don’t get it on your hair. Wash and dry hands, and put on gloves. Puncture color tube with cap. If you are using the Conditioning Color Activator bottle to apply, squeeze Radiant Cream Color into bottle. Replace and tighten cap, and shake for 20 seconds to blend into a thick cream. If you are using a bowl and brush to apply, squeeze Radiant Cream Color and Conditioning Color Activator into bowl, and mix with brush until fully blended.Touch Up Roots With Radiant Cream Color: You will be touching up your roots first, then applying gloss to your mid-lengths and ends to refresh your color without over-darkening or causing color build up. First, apply Radiant Cream Color to color your new growth (roots) using either the applicator bottle, or the bowl and brush. Work your way down in rows about ¼ inch apart, one section at a time. When you are done applying color to your roots, start your timer for processing and begin gloss application. Total Time = 35 minutes (or 45 minutes for maximum gray coverage)Apply Color Reviving Gloss To Mid-Lengths And Ends:While your roots begin to process, begin gloss application. First, rinse color off gloved hands and open tube of Color Reviving Gloss. Apply gloss to mid-lengths of your hair, starting where you stopped coloring your roots. Work one section at a time. If you get gloss on your roots, don’t worry. The gloss will not stop the permanent color from working. Massage gloss down entire length of hair to the ends. Use a wide-tooth comb to help distribute evenly. Slip on cap. Allow color + gloss to process for remaining time.Rinse:Remove gloves. Use cleansing wipe to remove color from your skin. When processing time is up, put on second pair of gloves and rinse hair until the water runs clear. Wash your hair and lock in color with Color Protecting Shampoo + Conditioner (included in your kit).
