Description: Pair of French Baccarut Heavy Cut Crystal Jewelry Boxes-Clear & Rare Blue. Circa 1920. In nearly perfect condition, with only one part of the front clasp missing (as pictured, adds old-world character). Came into a Bombay attorney's family during early 1930s, when times were good for the family. Remained among a few final valuable possessions retained when times turned bad for the family in the late 1930s (attorney head of family passed away suddenly at a young age) and other family luxury items were sold. These beautiful boxes came with the attorney's granddaughter from Bombay to the US in the 1970s. It is now time for the boxes to sparkle in a new home. They are a beautiful pair and are meant to remain as such... hopefully brightening the space around them for another 100 years.
