This stunning full length dress dates back to the late 1930s and early 1940s. It is made from a heavy silk rayon and has a soft pastel floral print in light pinks and greens. The bodice and skirt of of the dress are gathered into a horizontally pleated waistband or cummerbund. It is essentially sleeveless with a piece of ribbon gathering the sleeves at the top of the shoulders. There is a side seam metal zipper that is in good working condition. This special dress is in good vintage condition. It has been well kept and only has a few areas of rust colored stains that are pictured. The largest stain is very light and is about 8 inches from the hem.
