Description: This is a Salton food warmer. The surface is 6.25 inches square and there are wooden handles that are attached to 2 sides. The instruction booklet indicates this will reach the proper operating temperature in minutes and will stay hot for 15 minutes after it is unplugged. They do not state the actual temperature it reaches. The surface is tempered glass. Interestingly, they have tested it by dropping a 2-lb steel ball onto it from a height of 2 feet. This lead them to conclude it is essentially unbreakable. The cord is in great shape. I tested the unit and it worked well. The box is soiled and worn but functional.
