The actual issues included here are 6, and then 17-27 uninterrupted. I bought these books when they were first published back in the mid 1980s, but honestly, I never had time to even look at them and just stored them away largely unopened and only just recently unearthed these copies when I was going through a closet which contained comics that hadn't seen the light of day in over 30 years, so they've essentially been undisturbed since almost the day I originally bought them. As I laid them out for the table-top photos and then handled them again to prepare for shipping and to take the final photo, I was really impressed at how well they had weathered the decades. Most look like they might have been published last week, as opposed to three-and-a-half decades ago. Don't get me wrong -- they don't all look brand new. I noted a folded corner on one, slightly faded edges on the backs of a couple more, a rough back edge on the back of 27 (that actually shows in the photo), but by and large, most of them still look like new books, and I just marked them VF/NM to stay on the conservative side. Bottom line is that the set isn't perfect, and I make no claim that it is, but nevertheless, these are nicely-preserved and unread copies, every one of which is about 35 years old. And at about half each of what new comics cost today, it's a deal you better jump on fast before someone else does! Look at my feedback and you'll see "item as described" posted over and over again! I cannot believe other sellers expect you to make a purchase decision with just one or two photos -- ridiculous -- you always see what you're getting from me!
