Description: This auction is for a Series of 1899 Five Dollars Five Dollars Silver Certificate from the United States. Graded Choice Fine 15 by PCGS Banknote (holder is shopworn with scuffs and scratches). This note is obviously heavily circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in many areas and oddly cut); many edge indents/nicks (looks like some small tears exist but hard to tell due to the note being in the holder); very heavy surface wear and fraying (areas of paper loss exist); no holes that I could see.
