Description: I bought this beautiful vintage IWC at auction from Artcurial in January 2019. It dates from 1947 and is in excellent condition and still keeping very good time. It has the in house IWC caliber C68 movement with a small seconds complication. I am not a watch dealer, just a collector, so I have never opened the watch but I have worn it on many occasions. At 35mm diameter it is very wearable in a modern context - and I can guarantee you that those bullhorn lugs always attract attention from folks in the know! The rose gold case has a very nice patina - almost looks like a polished brass. Overall, excellent vintage condition. Note: 1) there is a hairline crack in the case opposite the crown (visible in at least one of the pictures). I acquired the watch in this condition.
