This Vintage George Lawrence Holster belonged to the father of a friend of mine who passed away in the 1980's. He was a long time big game hunter who traveled in on horseback. This was one of his revolver holsters. This particular holster was manufactured by George Lawrence - Portland, Oregon. The brown leather holster shows light use/wear overall, has a snap over strap and is marked to the reverse with the maker & numeric codes 120 & 532 (see photos). The thick leather remains pliable and the holster measures approximately 7 inches from top to toe and the opening to the top measures approximately 4 inches (see photos). I don't know what type of revolver or pistol this holster was made for but it looks like it would fit a smaller revolver with a 3 or 4 inch barrel (see photos). The stitching remains solid/intact everywhere and the snap over strap is solid (see photos). This is very clean vintage George Lawrence holster that has been in storage for the last 40 years. It shows only light use/wear, has plenty of life left and is guaranteed to be an original period piece as described.
