Description: This a sparkly and sweet vintage Jessica McClintock party cocktail prom event dress. I'm guessing it's from the late 80's or early 90's. It's strapless with a corset like boned bodice and full skirt. It has two layers; a pale pink opaque inside layer and a sheer pale pink outside layer. The outside layer is embroidered with iridescent silver flowers and also has small silver paillettes. Dress zips up the back and has a hook and eye. This is the second Jessica McClintock dress I've found out in thrift land, and both were size 8. I'm an 8, so I had to try them on. They seem to be 8s from the waist down, but the bust measurements are small. On this gown, the chest is 31", the natural waist is 28", where the bodice joins the skirt is 33", and dress is 33" long. The washing instructions label says to remove the ribbon before cleaning. What do you know? There are two pale pink loops on either side of the waist where a ribbon would have gone. You can add your own ribbon or cut the loops off. Fabric content of the sheer outer layer is 100% polyester while the lining is 100% acetate. I didn't notice that the acetate was wrinkled until I took a picture of it. Other than the missing ribbon, I see nothing wrong with this dress. There are no spots or holes or seam issues. Overall, vintage 80's 90's Jessica McClintock party dress is in VERY good vintage shape.
