Paper label on bottom states 12/1228 Greensleeves Malachite. Also shows laquerware cleaning instructions Otagiri. Malachite Otagiri Japan in a gold script on box. Easy to wind and plays nicely. Interior has a rectangle mirror and a black velvet lined storage compartment. it is a footed box with two wide bars. The colors are very beautiful. Measures: 5" X 3" X 2 3/4" closed. Condition: In excellent pre-owned condition. Minimal wear if any. Fully functional. Remarkable quality piece.
